Gothic New Orleans Art

We love New Orleans and especially New Orleans Art! Here is an interesting black and white print of a dark cloaked figure in a carriage in front of Jackson Square in the French Quarter.

Halloween in February

Well it’s a good few months til our favorite holiday, Halloween, so we thought we’d give it a little love in this blog post. It really doesn’t matter though, since we like black cats and ghosts all year long.

I was just listening to Marilyn Manson’s version of Everyday is Halloween by Ministry, and it isn’t that great. But check it out and decide for yourself.

I happened upon some new and interesting southern gothic sites last night that I will be checking out some more soon, too. In the meantime we’ll enjoy the cool weather down here in New Orleans and think about life, and stuff.

Nightmare Before Christmas

I love all things Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington is so cool and dreamy, and all the visuals in the movie are just awesome and spooky.

Here is the cutest Nightmare Before Christmas music box! Adorable, gothic and darling.
